I'm going to try firing up the blog again for 2016, especially the nature/landscape side of things. It is in desperate need of a redesign so I will be working on that while shooting for KSTV. Unfortunately the slideshows on older posts have been disabled by flickr. You can find all of my work in my gallery.

Unique Photo Gifts

I love creating personalized photo gifts for friends and family. I have seen urban and nature letter photo challenges in the past on flickr and other photography boards. Based on a name frame concept she had seen, another Pea decided to start a group to collect our own photo letters to spell out names and other words to create unique gifts. I thought I would share a few I have created so far.

The template I am using is for a completed 8"x20". I put two of them on a 16"x20" to be printed. You can then just cut them to separate them. Adorama Camera has a great deal right now on 16"x20" prints for just $4.95. You can even choose metallic paper for the same price! There is also a free shipping coupon code for orders over $10. The code is: LSFS0708

If you would like to try these but do not have photo letters of your own, many can be found under creative commons licensing on Flickr as well as on other photo boards that have had alphabet letter challenges.

If you are looking for other creative and unique photo gifts, I recommend you check out Alexis Miller's Phototips blog. She has 10 great photo gifts with detailed instructions for creating each one.

Where on Flickr did you get those letter images? I'd love to make myself a sign for my house! Please advise:)

Some of the images were collected as a group project with some of my other 2Peas photography friends. You can try searching flickr by letter name or there are groups for a specific letter. I also found a group called
Letters on the run:

But there are several others like it.
